The space and facilities of the department are currently located in the seventh building on campus. The allocation of space and facilities can be divided into three major areas: administrative, teaching and experimental, and research experimental areas. The administrative area includes the department offices and meeting rooms situated in the fifth floor block of the seventh building, providing convenient access for faculty and students to handle various administrative tasks. The special teaching and experimental areas, as well as the research experimental areas, are primarily located on the sixth and ninth floors, while undergraduate teaching spaces are mainly distributed from the first to the fourth floors of the seventh building. In addition to the key teaching laboratories, each full-time professor has their own dedicated research lab and experimental space based on their research direction and goals. Professors and graduate students have access to excellent independent research spaces, fostering a conducive environment for interactive learning between professors and students.
